Arg!

So I typed out a long post, and then clicked an incorrect button and lost the whole thing.

 

It was basically a long ramble about how we survived a brutal drought last year, along with some unique Kansas weather trivia, etc.

And I explained that I have a pregnant pig, puppies that are now “overdue” by a day, 3 mama goats to kid to wrap up the 2012 kidding season, and 4 hens setting on eggs.

 

AND NO ONE IS GIVING BIRTH AND IT’S DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!! LOL

 

Seriously, I know these animals are pregnant. But I got so discouraged last night that I asked my husband to confirm that my eyes are not just playing tricks on me!!!

Sandy is so heavy with puppies this year. Last year she didn’t look hardly pregnant at all, and had 8; so I’m a tad nervous this time around.

Actually, I say she is heavy with puppies, but a friend from out of state, who breeds Blue Heelers, said she didn’t look very big. I just know her. And I can tell over these last few days that she’s just really uncomfortable.

She is so, so close.

Anyway, I hope to blog soon with puppy news.

Mrs. Twinkle Toes

So busily eating, she wouldn’t even look at me no matter what kind of noises I made. I guess that means she trusts me??

The 3 Musketeers!

Well, Big Red went off to Seattle Monday. We receieved an email that he arrived safely, too!

So, it’s now Thunder and his two furry, fuzzy cuddly sisters. Both sisters are waiting … waiting … they just don’t know it, yet! LOL

I did NOT get many pictures today. The main hang up is probably the garden. We’ve passed our final frost date, and had TWO frosts since! Crazy, huh? Anyway, busy planting mainly.
